October 2009 newsletter is about 2 new horses, our chicken herding dog and the children’s book “Loony’s Life to look for in the future. We also are having a contest here at Sliver Lining Farm.

One horse in particular is Wally. He is becoming a wonderful pony and is great for 9 year olds and over just learning to ride.  For more information you can e-mail us at:    susann@silverliningfarm.com.

Astaria is other new mare.   She is only 1 year old.  A little human interaction would be wonderful.  She loves to be brushed and petted.  She is for sale on out website.

Cocoanut is our number one chicken herder.  She is a Maltese.  Our 3 chickens are well protected by our faithful dog Cocoanut.  She would make a great mother.  See Coconut’s pictures on our photograph page.

Our previous intern Katie Ann Stirling wrote a magnificent children’s book while at Silver Lining Farm. It is called  “Paige’s High Heels.”  You can purchase it from Katie Ann at stirlinghorses@gmail.com  “Loony’s Life” will be available soon.

We would like to give a big Thank You to Mrs. Rodgers 3rd grade computer class at West Middlesex Elementary.  They looked at our website and passed on the news. Once again Thank You.

Now for our contest.  If you are 12 and under send us a picture of you and a horse or pony post marked and a release to publish by October 31, 2009(we will not be able to return the pictures) to susann@silverlininghorsefarm.com
