Silver Lining Farm LLC.(SLF) is a small horse training, sales and breeding operation based in West Middlesex Pa.  Our customer base is coast to coast along with European contacts.  We pride ourselves with integrity and a win win mind set.  The sport horse breed is the primary style of horses and ponies we promote. We do mostly hunters and jumpers, but do not exclude other types of riding.

The intern program we are initiating will provide the student with exposure to all aspects of small business.  The intern needs to be open minded and willing to think outside the box, take direction, and be patient and able to multitask. 

Our intern will be paid a salary and provided with housing.  In turn they will also be exposed to a wide range of people and horses. You will be creating your own on our web site, so when you graduate the facilities you apply to can locate your experience beyond the resume. 

Your experience has to be solid in riding, daily horse care, including braiding and trimming, and with horse show experience.  No western please - we are a strictly English riding farm.  Dressage experience would be nice but not a must.  You must have your own show clothes.  You will be showing both in the tack and in hand.  Customer contact will be daily either in person, on the phone, or email. There is so much to offer and I am personally very excited to work with the new intern.  You will be receiving riding lessons from me many times weekly.   You MUST have your own health insurance. 

At the end of your internship your web page will be ready and active, you will have a working knowledge of how to start and run any small business, and lots of personal exposure to the many aspects of the horse world.
